KUKA flexibleCUBE combines the advantages of a pre-assembled cell – namely, high availability and short delivery times – with unique possibilities for adapting and upgrading the system. Thanks to targeted planning and optimally coordinated components, KUKA flexibleCUBE can be individually adapted and seamlessly integrated into any production process – no matter whether as an entry-level solution for welding automation or as an expansion to existing automation systems.

KUKA flexibleCUBE arc: the all-rounder in arc welding
Specially for arc welding applications, KUKA offers the modular KUKA flexibleCUBE arc welding cell. This is available pre-assembled and ready for immediate use in a number of standard variants. Equipped with numerous hardware and software options, KUKA flexibleCUBE arc can be optimally adapted to any production volume and to a wide range of welding requirements. Beyond this, the cell can be combined with various positioning units as well as with service-proven welding equipment from leading manufacturers. KUKA flexibleCUBE arc is thus the ideal solution for automated arc welding.

KUKA flexibleCUBE arc C-DP 05 with DP-100 M rotary positioner

  • For components weighing up to 100 kg which do not need to be reoriented.
  • Rotary positioner for loading and unloading simultaneously with the welding process inside the cell.
  • Mechanical locking of the table to prevent undesired interruptions.
  • Manual rotation of the table in 4-5 seconds on completion of welding.

KUKA flexibleCUBE arc C-DP 05 with DP-250 M rotary positioner

  • For components weighing up to 250 kg which do not need to be reoriented.
  • Rotary positioner for loading and unloading simultaneously with the welding process inside the cell.
  • Mechanical locking of the table to prevent undesired interruptions.
  • Rotation of the table in 3-4 seconds with pneumatic assistance.

  • For components weighing up to 250 kg which do not need to be reoriented.
  • Rotary positioner for loading and unloading simultaneously with the welding process inside the cell.
  • Automatic rotation of the table in approx. 3 seconds when enabled.

KUKA flexibleCUBE arc C-DK 05 with D-DK-400 dual tilt-turn positioner

  • For more complex components weighing up to 400 kg which have hard-to-reach weld seams and need to be repeatedly reoriented.
  • Loading and unloading of a positioner simultaneously with the welding process inside the cell.
  • Automatic rotation of the table in approx. 4 seconds.
  • Light barrier for operator safety.
